In 1999, Mike Durazzo founded the MDP soccer team, which quickly became a dominant force at the Toms River Indoor Recreation Station. Over 12 seasons, the MDP secured an impressive 8 indoor championships. From 2003 to the present, Mike's indoor teams have continued to experience remarkable success.

In 2014, alongside his brother-in-law Vasili Foukarakis and teammate Nick Tarquino, Mike established Lions FC, winning the Championship in their inaugural season in the Ocean County Men's Soccer League. In 2017, Mike joined forces with lifelong friend Rick Whelan and the Jackson Soccer Club to create one of the nation's premier amateur teams.

Mike's soccer journey began with the Toms River Soccer Association and Monsignor Donovan High School, where he developed a lifelong passion for the game. In recognition of his contributions to soccer, he was honored as the New Jersey Soccer Association's Manager of the Year in 2019.

Beyond soccer, Mike is an entrepreneur, owning La Fontana Restaurant in Brick, NJ, and Red Moon Pizza in Howell, NJ. Residing in Toms River, NJ, he is a dedicated father to three children: Dolce, Layla, and Max, the latter of whom plays for the Matchfit Surf ECNL Team.
